ScanDiva is a document scanner that runs entirely on your device. We built it to be private by default: your scans never leave your phone, and we do not collect, store, or share any personal information.
None. ScanDiva does not require an account, an email address, or a sign-up. We do not collect personal data, we do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not profile you.
The camera is used solely to scan documents. Captured images are processed on your device and are never transmitted to us or to third parties.
Copying text from a scan (OCR) and translating a document are performed on your device using Google ML Kit. The text of your documents is not sent to us or to any server for these features. The first time you translate into a given language, the device may download a language model directly from Google; this download does not include any of your document content.
If you enable the app lock, authentication is handled by your device's operating system (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint). ScanDiva never sees or stores your biometric data. If you protect an exported PDF with a password, that password is stored securely on your device and is used only to encrypt the PDF; we never receive it.
When you choose to export or share a PDF, the file is handed to the app you pick (email, messaging, Files, etc.) through your device's standard share sheet. What happens to the file after that is governed by the app or service you selected.
ScanDiva is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, within the app.
